PLOTTING out the venue
An absolute ideal place to hold the Sweet Pea Wedding is at a local botanical garden or park. It will provide you with tranquility and an oasis of beauty for your wedding. Parks can book up surprisingly fast. Inquire as soon as possible. Also, try to visualize what the area will look like on your wedding day. Try visiting the year before so you can see what flowers fill the area or how busy the venue will be.
Of course, another perfect venue would be your home or a friend's garden. You can create a lovely venue by just following some of the ideas under "Fertilizing the Grounds". For outdoor events, also have a Plan B in place for weather. Be prepared to move indoors in case of weather turning badly.

FERTILIZING the grounds
If you have chosen to have the Sweet Pea Wedding at a local botanical garden; most of the work will be done for you. However, every garden requires somefertilizing to get the earth to grow a magical and spectacular spot.
-
Fill the venue with freshly cut flowers. Either use pitchers, vases or even potted plants throughout the place.
-
For centerpieces, buy small watering cans and fill with either flowers or a variety of different gardening tools. Or try an open air arrangement, in wire baskets place a variety of different flowers such as sweet peas and blackberries.
-
Add a special touch and place small bouquets of flowers at each place setting.
-
Pick one or two colors and use it throughout the venue. For example,if red roses are your favorite, adorn your venue in reds. Use redtablecloths or even better find tablecloths with roses printed on them.Or if yellow and blue roses are more your style, use this chickcombination by placing yellow buds in blue bowls and blue tableclothswith yellow napkins etc.
-
A garden wouldn't be complete without bees, butterflies and otherbirds. Use these decorations throughout the event. Such as hangingbutterflies and bees on the ceiling.
-
Instead of using numbers for the tables at your reception, name thetables after flowers such as Lady Slipper, Flaky Roses, Tiger Lilies, Violets,Daisies etc.
-
Put a romantic glow into your reception by putting twinkle lightsthroughout the trees. Lighting should be also useful. Make sure that allstairs and obstacles are well lite for later hours. Decorator lights will addthe pizzazz and mark important areas.
-
For a buffet reception, use individual picnic baskets for each guestwith their cutlery, napkin, salt and pepper all packed in the basket.Alternatively, use brown paper bags and write on them your names and wedding date.
-
Since the garden will provide the beauty of the flowers, dosomething different for centerpieces. Try using fruits, herbs andberries or other natural items to create a different twist.
-
Tell your guests to get out their best hats! No garden party would becomplete without sunhats.
-
Sprinkle rose petals on the cake and walkways.
HERBS FULL of food
The Sweet Pea Wedding gives you a multitude of different menus to select. Try different assortments of petite sandwiches (or wraps) placed on buffet tables orgo all out and have a sit-down affair!

It’s the simplest thing you can do to always let each other know how much you care about each other. Even onthose nights when your fighting (it does happen), try to remember the simply kiss. It will help remind you of the bond you have together.
